The original plan was to run the train between Surat and Rajkot, but due to the ongoing construction of a Multi Modal Transport Hub (MMTH), platform-4 of Surat station has been temporarily closed, forcing a route change to Udhna. Meanwhile, the West-Central Railway has implemented a new initiative where ticket checking staff on passenger trains are now equipped with first aid kits for a fee of Rs 50. These kits contain 13 types of medicines for general treatment and were distributed on June 28th. This initiative provides an additional level of emergency care for passengers during their journeys.
