Despite a decrease in the average number of train accidents during the Narendra Modi government compared to the previous UPA regime, India continues to face preventable tragedies. A recent accident in West Bengal involving a goods train and the Kanchanjunga Express resulted in 10 deaths, including the driver of the goods...

train. While the Railway Ministry blames the driver for not adhering to safety protocols, unions argue that he was fulfilling his duty. The accident highlights the lack of progress in implementing Kavach, India's automatic train protection system, despite its potential to prevent collisions. A previous investigation into the derailment of the Northeast Express in Bihar, which blamed track maintenance shortcomings, has also been met with inaction. This lack of accountability and slow adoption of technology raises concerns about the safety of India's vast railway network.

Modi government ke 10 saal mein, train accidents ka average 68 per year ho gaya hai, jo pehle UPA government ke 10 saal mein 171 per year tha. Lekin, ye statistics 11 saal ki Sristi ko kya samjhaayegi, jiska papa Shubhajit Mali, Kanchanjunga Express mein goods train ke accident mein mar...

gaya? Is accident mein 10 logon ki jaan gayi, jismein goods train ka driver Anil Kumar bhi tha. Railway Ministry ne Kumar ko safety protocols na manane ka dosh diya hai, lekin unions ka kehna hai ki woh apna kaam kar rahe the. Is accident se yeh saaf ho gaya hai ki India ka Kavach system, jo train collisions rokne ke liye banaya gaya hai, abhi tak puri tarah se implement nahin hua. Bihar mein Northeast Express ke derailment ki jaanch mein track maintenance ki kamiyan nikli thi, lekin us par abhi tak koi action nahin liya gaya hai. Isse yeh saaf hai ki India ke railway system ki safety ke liye responsibility aur technology adoption mein kami hai.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
