इटारसी से मानिकपुर तक बनेगा 520 किमी लंबा हाई स्पीड ट्रैकThe Western Central Railway zone has completed around 75% of the Mumbai-Delhi high-speed track passing through the Kota division. Now, efforts are being made to upgrade the Itarsi-Manikpur line via Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna to a high-speed track. This will involve building compound walls and fencing on both sides of the...

The General Manager of the Western Central Railway, Shobhana Bandopadhyay, has indicated this plan, emphasizing the focus on developing railway infrastructure, including track expansion, doubling, and tripling projects, along with other passenger amenities. The project also includes a grade separator above Katni station, the first of its kind in India, aimed at reducing travel time for freight and enabling uninterrupted travel for 16 km. This project covers a total distance of 520 km between Itarsi and Manikpur, with track doubling being prioritized near Ghat Pinderai in Narsinghpur and near the Tawa River. The entire track will be fenced on both sides to prevent animal intrusion and ensure smooth train movement. The Kota division has already implemented similar fencing measures along a 585 km stretch, covering 1170 km in total. This involved three types of fencing: concrete walls for 100 km, wire fencing with CC pillars for 300 km, and cement sheet fencing with CC pillars for the remaining portion. The project cost is estimated at INR 1 billion. Shobhana Bandopadhyay highlighted the importance of making the Itarsi-Manikpur track a high-speed track for trains to operate at 160 km per hour, and this will involve covering both sides of the track, similar to the Kota division.
Western Central Railway zone ne Kota division se jaane wala Mumbai-Delhi high-speed track ka kaam karieb 75% complete kar liya hai. Ab Itarsi se Jabalpur, Katni, aur Satna se hota hua Manikpur line ko bhi high speed track banaane ke efforts shuru kar diye gaye hain. Iske liye track ke dono...

Western Central Railway ke General Manager, Shobhana Bandopadhyay ne yeh baat batayi hai, aur unhone railway infrastructure ko develop karne par focus diya hai, jisme track ka extension, doubling, aur tripling projects, aur saath hi saath aur passenger facilities bhi shamil hain. Is project mein Katni station ke upar se guzarne wala grade separator bhi hai, jo ki India ka pehla grade separator hai, jiska maksad freight ka travel time kam karna aur 16 km ka safar bina rukne ke direct karana hai. Yeh project Itarsi aur Manikpur ke beech 520 km ki total distance ko cover karta hai, aur track doubling Narsinghpur ke paas Ghat Pinderai aur Tawa River ke paas fast pace pe chal raha hai. Pure track ko dono taraf se boundary wall fencing ki jaayegi, jisse rail track par animals na aa paye aur trains apni speed se chal sake. Kota division ne pehle hi 585 km ke stretch par aisa hi fencing ka kaam complete kar liya hai, jiska total length 1170 km hai. Isme three types ki fencing ki gayi hai: 100 km concrete walls, 300 km wire fencing with CC pillars, aur baki hisse mein CC pillars pe cement sheet fencing. Is project ki lagat INR 1 billion ke karib hai.
