of Vande Bharat Express trains, including a large marshalling yard, loco shed, and coaching depot. Currently, the Vande Bharat Express operating between Bilaspur and Nagpur is maintained here. The committee argues that operating the proposed trains from Bilaspur would provide an alternative train service to Jabalpur for Bilaspur residents and increase convenience for travelers. They also propose a Vande Bharat or Intercity train on the Ambikapur-Bilaspur-Raipur route to address the lack of daytime train service between these cities.
