Suburban train services on Chengalpattu-Chennai Beach section hit

stopped working after the truck’s rear portion rubbed against the gate at around 9 a.m. Southern Railway maintenance staff repaired the gate by 10 a.m., restoring normal train services. The incident affected a large number of commuters, particularly office-goers traveling from Kancheepuram and Chengalpattu. The Chengalpattu Government Railway Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Subah 9 baje ke aas-paas truck ke piche ke hisse ka level crossing se saansna, automatic level crossing signal ko band kar diya. Southern Railway ke maintenance staff ne 10 baje tak gate ko theek kar diya, jisse train services normal ho gaye. Is incident se kaafi commuters, khaas karke Kancheepuram aur Chengalpattu se office jaane wale log, pareshan hue.
