'Aastha Special' train will operate from Khurda Road in Odisha to Ayodhya Nagar on March 1st, 2024. The train will depart at 6:15 AM and arrive in Darshannagar at 3:20 AM the next day. It will return on March 3rd, departing Darshannagar at 8:00 AM. A coach restaurant is being planned for Dhanbad station, with tenders expected soon. The restaurant will be located in two coaches and will offer food at fixed prices, catering to passengers and locals. Two potential locations have been identified: near DAV School and near the old market railway gate. The tender is expected to be around 20 lakh rupees and will be for a three-year period. Dhanbad station is being redesigned to resemble an airport with plans to demolish the existing station buildings and replace them with a new structure. The design and proposal have been submitted to the board, and approval is pending.
