the Cantt bus stand were overcrowded. To accommodate the large number of candidates, the North Railway ran four special trains from Cantt station to Gorakhpur and Ballia, while the Northeast Railway ran exam special trains to Gorakhpur, Chhapra, Ballia, and Azamgarh from Banaras and Varanasi City stations. Extra buses were also deployed from Cantt bus stand to Mau, Ballia, Gorakhpur, and Azamgarh. Security personnel were on high alert at all stations, and intelligence agencies were deployed.
