The Dhanbad Railway Division conducted a large-scale ticket checking drive on February 4th, 2024, across various stations within the division, including Dhanbad, Gomoh, Koderma, Daltonganj, Chopan, Barkakana, and Singrauli. A total of 1586 passengers were caught for various offenses like traveling without tickets, traveling without proper authorization, and carrying unbooked luggage....

A total of 6,39,320 rupees were collected as fines from these passengers. 159 ticket checking personnel were deployed for the drive. The information was provided by the Senior Public Relations Officer, Amaresh Kumar.
