The upcoming budget in India is expected to address several railway projects in Karnataka. Key demands include: upgrading existing rail lines, new routes, increased funding, and new train launches. Specific requests include more trains between Bengaluru and Hubballi/Kalaburagi, electrification of routes to Pune, and a new route between Mysuru and Kushalnagar....

There are also demands to formalize the status of several experimental or temporary trains, which currently charge a 30% higher fare. Another important request is the completion of the Davanagere-Tumkur railway line, which is expected to reduce travel time between Bengaluru and Hubballi. Additionally, the Bengaluru-Hubballi-Pune electrification project needs to be expedited, and increased funding for the Bengaluru suburban rail network is also sought. Other requests include speeding up the construction of the Shahabad-Vijayapura line and introducing Tatkal trains from Davanagere and Hubballi to Mumbai, Jodhpur, and Ajmer. The Kalaburagi division has also put forth a long-standing demand for increased funding to improve railway infrastructure in the region.

chalana, Pune tak route ka electrification, aur Mysuru aur Kushalnagar ke beech mein new route banane ki demand shamil hai. Kai experimental trains ke status ko formalize karne ki bhi demand hai, jo currently 30% zyada fare charge karte hain. Davanagere-Tumkur railway line ko complete karne ki demand bhi hai, jisse Bengaluru aur Hubballi ke beech ka travel time kam hoga. Bengaluru-Hubballi-Pune electrification project ko jaldi complete karne ki bhi demand hai, aur Bengaluru suburban rail network ke liye zyada funding ki bhi demand hai. Other requests mein Shahabad-Vijayapura line ko jaldi banane aur Davanagere aur Hubballi se Mumbai, Jodhpur, aur Ajmer tak Tatkal trains chalaane ki demand shamil hai.
