Kolkata. DGMS Director General stated that due to their efforts, the rate of accidents in mines has fallen to below the 10th position. He highlighted the danger posed by the Dhanbad-Chandrapura rail line, but assured that the railway, BCCL, ISM IIT, and SIMFER are continuously monitoring the situation and reporting it to DGMS for timely safety measures. BCCL has been instructed not to carry out coal excavation towards the rail lines. Coal India chairman emphasized the DGMS's importance in reducing mining accidents since its establishment in 1902. He stated that India now produces coal more efficiently and safely compared to developed nations. Coal India is committed to promoting solar energy with a target of 3 Gigawatts in the next three years, adding to the current 1.3 Gigawatts production. The company also plans to expand solar power production to 5 Gigawatts in the future. Coal India has also undertaken plantation on 2200 hectares of land and is working to reduce carbon emissions through initiatives like using air conditioners and LED lights.

mines mein hone wali accidents ki rate 10th position se bhi niche aa gayi hai. Unhone Dhanbad-Chandrapura rail line par khtare ki baat ki, lekin assured kiya ki railway, BCCL, ISM IIT, aur SIMFER continuously monitor kar rahe hain aur report DGMS ko bhej rahe hain. BCCL ko rail lines ki taraf coal excavation nahin karne ka nirdesh diya gaya hai. Coal India chairman ne DGMS ki importance par zor diya aur bataya ki 1902 mein iski establishment se mining accidents mein kaafi kami aayi hai. Unhone bataya ki India ab developed nations ki tulna mein zyada aur safe tarike se coal production kar raha hai. Coal India solar energy ko promote karne ke liye committed hai aur next three years mein 3 Gigawatts solar energy production ka target rakhe hain. Currently 1.30 Gigawatts solar energy ka production kar rahe hain. Coal India 5 Gigawatts tak solar energy production karne ka plan hai. Iske alawa 2200 hectares mein plantation bhi kiya gaya hai aur air conditioners, LED lights, etc. par bhi kaam kiya ja raha hai, taki carbon emissions ko kam kiya ja sake.
