51034 Sainagar (Shirdi) - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Terminus (Mumbai) is a daily Fast Passenger service. It's slip portion comes from either Bijapur (51030) or Pandharpur (51028).

Hauled...

The slip portion arrives on PF-3 with a diesel engine. This D-loco detaches from the rake and gets attached at the rear end of Sainagar FP standing on PF-4. Then the rake of Sainagar FP is pulled out of PF-4 and is taken to PF-3 where the slip portion is already standing.
.
After getting attached to the rake, both trains run as a single unit for the rest of the journey (upto Mumbai). All of this takes more than an hour and sometimes even more, in case one of the train gets delayed.
