This is good news. Hyderabad is huge city that is growing rapidly and it doesn't make any sense that everything is shut down in the night. Even metro should do the same. At least one per hour in the night. Quadrupling of Hyderabad - Begumpet - Moula Ali Cabin section also should be taken up and then MMTS frequency can increase.

Quadrupling of railway tracks between Mysuru and Bengaluru

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha announced that the Railway Board is conducting a survey for quadrupling the railway tracks between Mysuru and Bengaluru, and Mysuru to other destinations. Land acquisition will begin after the survey. The project is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Mysuru and Bengaluru by eliminating curves...

on the existing 139 km track. Regarding the proposed Mysuru-Kushalnagar National Highway project, construction is expected to begin by the end of February. Rs. 1,100 crore out of the total Rs. 4,130 crore has been allocated for land acquisition, with 190 hectares already acquired and Rs. 177 crore compensation paid. However, some landowners are seeking higher compensation, leading to discussions on a fair compensation formula. The MP expressed dissatisfaction with the State Government's decision to allow Kerala to conduct a survey for the Nilambur-Nanjangud railway line, citing doubts about environmental clearance and the project's efficacy. He also criticized the Congress and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for planning a protest in New Delhi against alleged step-motherly treatment by the Centre towards Karnataka, accusing the CM of misleading the public with baseless allegations.

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha ne bataya ki Railway Board Mysuru se Bengaluru aur Mysuru se doosre jagah tak railway track quadrupling ke liye survey kar raha hai. Survey ke baad land acquisition shuru hoga. Is project se Mysuru aur Bengaluru ke beech travel time bahut kam ho jaayega kyunki existing...

139 km track ke curves ko hata diya jaayega. Mysuru-Kushalnagar National Highway project ke liye construction February ke end tak shuru hone wali hai. Is project ke liye total Rs. 4,130 crore me se Rs. 1,100 crore land acquisition ke liye allocate kiya gaya hai, 190 hectare land acquire kar liya gaya hai aur Rs. 177 crore compensation landowners ko de diya gaya hai. Lekin kuchh landowners zyada compensation maang rahe hain, jisse fair compensation formula pe baat chal rahi hai. MP ne state government ke Kerala ko Nilambur-Nanjangud railway line ke liye survey karne ki permission dene ke decision pe narazgi jatayi aur environmental clearance aur project ki efficacy pe doubt uthaye. Unhone Congress aur Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ko New Delhi me protest plan karne ke liye bhi criticize kiya, jisme Centre ke taraf se Karnataka ke saath step-motherly treatment ka aarop lagaaya gaya hai. MP ne CM par alag-alag sectors me fund allocation ko lekar public ko misleading karne ka aarop lagaya.

Why don't we increase pit lines at Mysuru instead? Or maybe increase the MPS to 130 if possible for VB speedup? Is quadrupling really needed in this section?

12 Services?!! They should be running one every 30 min - 1 hour. SCR should look into Quadrupling of Hyderabad - Secunderabad - Moula Ali section. We need a Chennai or Mumbai type transit system.

They run it between passenger and Express services. They get overtaken and cancellations are very frequent. Hence, my demand to quadruple HYB - SC - MLY route.

I agree it's difficult but it's becoming a do or die situation now. City is growing rapidly and needs to accomodate this to cater to the people.

Agree but I believe they have to do it, it is high time they considered it. And anyone living in Hyderabad knows especially how the route between Nampally and Necklace road is. There is no scope of any quadrupling there but any means possible they should quadruple here. Rest of the route they can do. There is a lot of place near Sanjiviah park, James Street might be an issue. Nampally can become a local train terminal and we can have MMTS trains every 30 min for the minimum to Medchal, Umdanagar/Shamshabad, Ghatkesar and already existing Lingampalli.

So in the upcoming phases of MMTS
MMTS trains are supposed to run to Ghatkesar(They quadrupled till here from Moula Ali), Umdanagar(In future they might lay a line to RGI Airport) and now after a long time, they started services to Medchal.

I think there is a notion that public transit is mostly used by poor folks and it has creeped into the minds of IT professionals and a guy coming in a car shows that they are sound or something.
