the 05219 Clone Express departed Muzaffarpur on time, but was already delayed by the time it reached Hajipur. The Clone arriving from Anand Vihar was also about 5 hours late reaching Muzaffarpur. According to records from the National Train Enquiry System (NTES), the 05219 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Clone Express has 10 stops between Muzaffarpur and Anand Vihar, but is not on time at any station except Muzaffarpur. Meanwhile, the 05220 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur Clone has never departed Anand Vihar on time. On its first day, it was even rescheduled by an hour and a half. The 05219 takes 21 hours to reach Anand Vihar instead of the claimed 16.5 hours, and takes almost 26 hours to reach Muzaffarpur. The operation of other mail and express trains is better than this. The Clone Specials running from Barauni and Darbhanga to New Delhi have also not been running on time. The 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Clone is arriving in New Delhi an average of 6.5 hours late. On the return journey, Muzaffarpur Junction is reaching almost 3 hours late while Barauni is reaching almost 4.75 hours late. On the other hand, the 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi Clone is reaching Delhi almost 5.75 hours late. The return journey to Muzaffarpur is reaching 3.25 hours late and Darbhanga is reaching 4 hours late.

Gorakhpur around midnight after departing from Dibrugarh. The Railway Board had requested reports on this from NER, Northern Railway (NR), and Northeast Frontier Railway (NF) on Friday. The initiative was sparked by a campaign launched by the Hindi daily 'Hindustan' and consistent pleas by Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan Shukla in Parliament. The introduction of the Rajdhani Express through Gorakhpur would provide a much-needed new train to Delhi, boosting the city's stature. Currently, the Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (train number 20503/04) travels via Chhapra, Ballia, Varanasi, Lucknow, and Kanpur before reaching New Delhi. A route through Gorakhpur would reduce travel distance and time. 'Hindustan' ran a campaign from April 2 to 8 advocating for the Rajdhani Express via Gorakhpur, highlighting passenger demand and technical aspects. Gorakhpur currently has only two direct trains to Delhi, while eight others arrive from other locations. With a total of 2,500 seats on these trains, the demand for reserved seats for daily travelers from Gorakhpur to Delhi exceeds 10,000, making the Rajdhani Express a vital addition.
