Ayo, check it! Just peeped the new 16368 Banaras (Varanasi) to Kanniyakumari Express rollin' in with that WAP7 engine at Warangal station. Took the pic from my uncle's crib nearby. Chillin' on summer evenings watchin' all them trains go by. I can even catch the train updates at night sittin' on my bed when it's quiet. 😊

16368/ Kashi Tamil Sangamam Express || Banaras - Kanyakumari !!!

The Indian Railways Headquarters has announced the launch of a new weekly train called "Kashi Tamil Sangam Express" between Kanyakumari and Varanasi.

The train number 16367 Kashi Tamil Sangam Express will depart from Kanyakumari every Thursday at 20:55 and will reach Varanasi on Saturday night at 23:35. On the return journey, train number 16368 Kashi Tamil Sangam Express will depart from Varanasi every Sunday at 16:20 and will reach Kanyakumari on Tuesday at 20:55.

The train will have the following stops along the route: Nagarcoil, Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam, Mayiladuthurai, Sirakkaji, Chidambaram, Cuddalore Port, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Arakkonam, Perambur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Balharshah, Gondia, Bilaspur, Nainpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi Junction, and Varanasi.

Coach configuration: AC First Class - 1, AC 2 Tier - 2, AC 3 Tier - 3, AC 3 Tier Economy - 3, Sleeper - 6, Pantry Car - 1, Second Class General - 4, SLR - 1, Generator Van - 1, total of 22 LHB Coaches.
