Yes 3E coaches used. Coach Identification still carries G series coach numbering.

Are bhai. Doubling between Ratnagiri & Madgaon (Goa) is most need of an hour. Most of the choking & delays happens there itself. South KR or after Madgaon is where most trains try to cover up or reduce delays.

5 seater AC Chair Car (CC) has only 78 seats compared to 3A which has 80 or 3E which has at least 83 berths. So, not a great move in my opinion since Kerala has plenty of intercity trains plying during the day.
The old 6-seater Garib Rath AC Chair Car coach had 100+ seats, that did accommodate more passengers, though not as comfortable.

Rake is of TVC.
They can plan a tri weekly between TVC and SBC, in such a way that train operates from TVC end on Sundays and SBC end on Fridays. Will take care of extra week end crowd.

TVC 1515 ERN 1930 CBE 0005 SA 0230 TPT 0400 KJM 0700 and terminate at YPR/ YNK/ BNC....
