The rack point has been moved to the last track to avoid any obstacles during construction. The project has received approval for INR 221 crores. The government bus stand will be relocated to make space for the station's upgrade. Temporary ticket and reservation counters will be constructed on the bus stand's land before the existing platforms and offices are moved. EXTENSION OF TATANAGAR-ARA EXPRESS UPTO BUXAR

The Tatanagar-Ara-Tatanagar Express (train numbers 18183/18184) is being extended to Buxar. Starting on March 8, 2024, train 18183 will run to Buxar. From March 9, 2024, train 18184 will originate from Buxar. The train will make stops at Bihia, Raghunathpur, and Dumraon between Ara and Buxar.

Tatanagar-Ara-Tatanagar Express (train number 18183/18184) ko Buxar tak extend kiya ja raha hai. 8 March, 2024 se, train 18183 Buxar tak chalega. 9 March, 2024 se, train 18184 Buxar se chalu hoga. Train Ara aur Buxar ke beech Bihia, Raghunathpur aur Dumraon par rukta hai.
