Noorsarai Halt is a small railway station located in the Nalanda district of Bihar, India. Serving as a halt station, it features two platforms and plays a key role in connecting local communities to larger railway networks.

### How to Reach by Road To reach Noorsarai Halt by road, travelers can drive via National Highway 20 (NH20), which connects several important towns in Bihar. The distance from major nearby cities like Nalanda is minimal, making it convenient for those traveling by private vehicles or taxis. Additionally, there are local state highways and roads

that connect to smaller villages and towns, providing easy access.

### Nearby Bus Stations The Major bus terminals nearby include: - **Nalanda Bus Stand**: This is the closest major bus stand. From here, local buses and auto-rickshaws can be taken to Noorsarai. - **Rajgir Bus Stand**: Located approximately 14 kilometers away, this bus stand serves as a hub for longer-distance services and provides options for reaching Noorsarai. Buses frequently operate on these routes, making it accessible for travelers who prefer public transport.

### Lodging Facilities While Noorsarai itself has limited lodging, there are several accommodation options in nearby towns: - **Nalanda Guest House**: A well-rated option for budget-conscious travelers, offering basic amenities and a convenient location. - **Hotel Rajgir Residency**: Located in Rajgir, this hotel offers more comfortable lodging with additional amenities, ideal for families and longer stays. - **Nalanda Hotel**: Situated near the archaeological site, it provides a more premium lodging experience amidst historical surroundings. Travelers are advised to check for availability in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.

### Prominent Vegetarian Food Facilities While Noorsarai has limited dining options, some notable vegetarian food facilities in the vicinity include: - **Bihar Bhawan's Dining Hall**: Located in nearby Nalanda, it offers authentic vegetarian Bihar cuisine to visitors. - **Mahalaxmi Restaurant**: A well-known place in Rajgir, serving a variety of vegetarian dishes, including local specialties. - **Panchavati Gaurav Thali**: Popular in Rajgir, this restaurant specializes in thali meals that showcase the rich vegetarian culinary traditions of India.

### Relative Safety Noorsarai Halt, like many small towns in Bihar, is generally considered safe for travelers. However, it is always wise to remain vigilant, especially when traveling at night or when exploring less populated areas. The presence of local residents and commuters usually contributes to a sense of community safety. It is recommended to take standard precautions such as keeping valuables secured and staying aware of your surroundings. In summary, Noorsarai Halt serves as a vital link for local transportation. With its accessible road networks, nearby lodging options, vegetarian dining facilities, and a relatively safe environment, it provides a convenient stop for those exploring the historical and cultural richness of the Nalanda district.

Great Great Great Great
According to news reports, Neora - Jatdumri - Daniyawan CRS may happen next month.
After that train will run from Neora to Asthawan.

• Jatdumri - Daniyawan is fine but Neora - Jatdumri can't be completed within a month or a two.

ECR is trying to open Asthawan - Barbigha - Sarsa Jamalpur before March 2024.
• An MPS of 60 kmph is approved initially for Bihar Sharif - Asthawan.
• Hopefully, Neora - Daniyawan - Bihar Sharif - Barbigha - Sheikhpura line may be fully operational within a year.
